BROOKLYN and PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – June 27, 2023 – St. Joseph’s University, New York (SJNY) is pleased to announce that the University was selected as a Telly Award winner in the 44th Annual Telly Awards. The University was recognized for its ongoing Ready. Set. Joe’s marketing campaign, receiving the bronze prize for its recent television commercials.

The Telly Awards’ 44th annual edition, “Break through the static,” received nearly 13,000 entries from across the globe, with submissions from the United States, Middle East, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Afghanistan, Sweden and New Zealand.

“We are proud to be recognized among thousands of entries, and thankful for the creativity of our marketing partners at Austin Williams,” said Jessica McAleer Decatur, vice president for marketing and communications at St. Joseph’s. “The Ready. Set. Joe’s campaign continues to strengthen the St. Joseph’s University, New York brand, and this prestigious award is a testament to the creative work we do each day.”

The Telly Awards, the world’s largest honor for video and television across all screens, recognized some of the most prominent global brands and companies, including Netflix, Disney Parks, Paramount and National Geographic Society.

Founded in 1979 to originally honor commercials made for cable and local TV, the Telly Awards has continually refreshed its categories to honor the evolving broad range of work being made today that reflects trends, issues and topical matters.
