About the instructor

Barbara Shipman

Barbara Shipman has over 25 years of experience in human resources in a management capacity for different organizations in the financial services and manufacturing sectors. Barbara attained her B.A. in Business with a Minor in Economics from Fordham University. Additionally, Barbara has an M.S. in HR Management and an Executive M.B.A. from St. Joseph's University. Barbara is fully certified with PHR, SPHR, GPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications.

Course materials: 2023 SHRM Learning System for SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP

As part of your course, you will receive the 2023 SHRM Learning System® for SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP. This new comprehensive program is filled with unique features, including innovative SmartStudy™ tools, comprehensive learning modules, and interactive online multi-media resources to help streamline your study time, expand your competencies and knowledge and build confidence for passing the certification exam.

Fall 2023 Class Dates

All class sessions will be virtual utilizing Zoom and are held on Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

  • November 4 & 18
  • December 2

Course Fee

The program registration fee is $1,230 for non-SHRM members and $1,205 SHRM members, which includes all required readings, workbooks, and mastery tests. Individuals choosing self-study pay basically the same fee for the SHRM Learning System materials alone.
