Computer Information Technology Major

"When I sat down in the lab room for the first time in my freshman year, I can still remember how intrigued I was when I looked at the syntax of a computer program for the first time — and how challenging and fun those first computer science classes were. The first-hand experiences and practical knowledge I gained from the rigorous courses at St. Joe's prepared me for my summer internship (virtually) at Bright Network and an online externship at AT&T. In the future, I plan to use the algorithms I learned from my computer science courses and internships to help solve cyber attacks and defend against other technological warfare."
