Age Matters: Generational Differences in the Workplace

    Tuesday, March 07, 2017
    6:00 pm
    The Parlors, Tuohy Hall

Join the Office of Alumni Engagement for a discussion on generational differences in the workplace and hear insights from leaders in each generational cohort. For the first time in history, some workplaces have three to four generations working alongside one another. This makes it all the more important for managers to be able to understand the differing motivations, needs and expectations of each group, and motivate them accordingly.

Featured speakers include Sophia Bellagarde '14, clinical lab scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center; Marsilia Boyle '69, senior vice president of development at LeFrak; Corinne Gamper '79, regulatory strategy business process owner at Pfizer; James Lally, director of athletics and recreation for SJC Brooklyn; Dr. Frank Spinner '94 from Richmond University Medical Center and Dee Kayalar, associate director of alumni engagement for SJC Brooklyn as the moderator. A Q&A session and reception to follow.
