CAMPUS INFORMATION

ABOUT OUR BROOKLYN CAMPUS

St. Joseph’s location in Brooklyn puts it at the center of one of the nation’s most diverse academic and cultural cities. The Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Brooklyn Public Library and the Brooklyn Museum of Art are all just minutes away from its doors.

With Manhattan just over the Brooklyn Bridge, students have quick and easy access to such world-renowned institutions as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New York Public Library, Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.

Campus facilities include seven buildings and an outdoor theater across three blocks in the Clinton Hill neighborhood.

Campus Highlights
In contrast to the University's historic brownstones, its library, McEntegart Hall, was named by New York state's education commissioner as an Electronic Doorway Library. The Dillon Child Study Center, a teaching facility for St. Joseph’s child study majors and a preschool for members of the community, was one of the first of its kind on the East Coast. Named after the University’s sixth president, S. Elizabeth A. Hill, C.S.J., J.D., the 40,000 square-foot Hill Center features a 270-seat, NCAA-regulation basketball and volleyball court, conference rooms, a dance studio, an outdoor terrace overlooking Vanderbilt Avenue, a fully-equipped sports medicine suite and a 90-car underground parking garage.

ABOUT OUR LONG ISLAND CAMPUS

Our Long Island Campus is located in Patchogue at 155 W. Roe Blvd., directly off Sunrise Highway. Well situated on the South Shore of eastern Long Island, we are just minutes from the Great South Bay, Long Island MacArthur Airport, Brookhaven National Laboratory, Orient Point and many of Long Island’s ocean beaches. New York City is just a short ride away, via the Long Island Rail Road.

Spread over a 32-acre lakeside campus on the outskirts of Patchogue Village, facilities include seven buildings and the new Outdoor Field Complex.

Campus Highlights
The brand new 33,200-square-foot Student Center offers a diverse range of spaces to enhance the University experience of our students, including a spacious dining facility; the Marian and Ray Russo Student Life Suite; an art gallery; the Sisters of St. Joseph Chapel; a bustling gaming lounge and esports room; the Kroog Center for Veterans; and the Ridgewood Savings Bank computer lab. The John A. Danzi Athletic Center boasts an elevated track, six-lane pool, weight room, fitness center and NCAA regulation basketball court that can seat 1,500. The campus' state-of-the-art, 33,000-square-foot Business Technology Center houses classrooms, computer labs and faculty offices.
